Jason Jones has extensive experience in laboratory management and business operations, with a career that spans multiple roles and organizations. Starting as LIMS Manager at Hyder Environmental from June 1997 to May 1999, Jason implemented STARLIMS across multiple laboratories. Following this, Jason held positions at Lab Data Management Ltd, including Professional Services and Support Manager for over eleven years. Jason then led Abbott Informatics operations in the UK as Country Manager and managed professional services across the EMEA region from May 2010 to October 2016. From April 2021 to November 2023, Jason served as both Business Manager for North America and Technical Sales Manager at Autoscribe Informatics, before transitioning to the role of Sales Director/Business Manager at Instem in July 2025. Jason subsequently held the position of SVP and General Manager of Xybion LIMS at Xybion Digital from November 2023 to October 2025. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy and Computer Science from the University of Liverpool and has a strong foundation in both technical sales and management from education and diverse professional experiences.
