Amanda Padilla has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Senior Research Associate at Instil Bio, where they support the optimization of immunoassays and molecular biology assays. Prior to this, they worked as a Quality Control Research Associate II at Kite Pharma, conducting routine analyses and ensuring compliance to specifications and protocols. Amanda also gained experience as a Manufacturing Associate - Purification at Takeda and an Associate Manufacturing - Cell Culture at Amgen, where they performed various operations in bioreactor and cell culture production. Amanda began their career as a Medical Assistant at the UCLA Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, where they assisted physicians in patient care. Additionally, they worked as a Medical Scribe at Community Memorial Hospital and as a Student Volunteer at UCLA Health, gaining valuable experience in documentation and shadowing medical professionals.

Amanda Padilla began their education in 2011 at St. Catherine University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree. Amanda attended from 2011 to 2013. In 2014, Amanda moved to California Lutheran University and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Amanda completed their studies in 2016. Currently, they are pursuing an MBA and MS Biotechnology degree at California State University Channel Islands Extended University, starting in 2022.
