Ashley Shaw has a diverse work experience spanning from 2002 to 2021. In 2002, they were an Intern for "Your Turn Tampa Bay" at Fox News WTVT. In 2004, they were a Post-Production Assistant for "Being Bobby Brown" at Simmons Shelley Entertainment, LLC. In 2005, they were an Associate Producer for "Fox Soccer USA / FC Fox" at Brighton Entertainment. In 2007, they were an Associate Producer at Point Studio, Inc. and a Freelance Producer and Director of Digital Content at AMC Networks. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Veterinary Medicine Student at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and an Associate Veterinarian at Animal Hospital Of Dunedin. Currently, they are a QA Specialist Veterinarian at Instinct Science.

Ashley Shaw obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from The University of Georgia and a BA from Brandeis University, where they studied Economics, Spanish Language/Literature, Film Studies, and Anthropology.
