Simmonds Mathews

Simmonds Mathews is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in FPGA and ASIC design within the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as a Principal FPGA Developer at Instinet Incorporated since July 2017, Simmonds has previously held significant roles as Principal FPGA Engineer at DRS Consolidated Controls and Hardware Design Engineer at Fujitsu Network Communications, focusing on architecture and design for telecom cards. Earlier career highlights include serving as ASIC Technical Leader at Transwitch and ASIC Designer at General DataComm, with responsibilities in system-on-chip design and ASIC development.
