Andrea Lelli

Andrea Lelli is an experienced researcher in the field of cellular physiology and biochemistry, currently working as an Ingénieur at Institut Pasteur since February 2018. Previously, Lelli served as Chargé de recherche at the same institution from June 2010 to May 2016, focusing on the role of class III myosins in the development and physiology of inner ear hair cells, as well as characterizing mechanotransduction currents in mouse models of human genetic deafness. From April 2006 to April 2010, Lelli was a Research Associate at the University of Virginia, where research involved the characterization of mechanotransduction currents in mice and the components of the transduction machinery in Professor Jeff Holt's laboratory. Lelli holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Physiology of Membrane Complexes from Università di Pavia, obtained in 2003, and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the same university, completed in 1999.
