Benoit Chassaing is currently a Research Director at the Institut Pasteur since 2024. Prior to this role, they served as an Assistant Professor at Georgia State University from 2015 to 2025 and conducted postdoctoral research focused on intestinal inflammation and host-microbial interactions. Benoit earned a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Université d'Auvergne (Clermont I) between 2009 and 2012.
