Daniela Ricci

Chargé De Recherche

Daniela Ricci is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in drug discovery and cellular response analysis. Currently serving as Chargé de recherche at Institut Pasteur since January 2022, Daniela focuses on developing small molecules targeting protein secretion to combat protein folding diseases and multiple myeloma. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, research centered on the cellular responses to ER stress in relation to lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Earlier roles include postdoctoral work at the University of Pennsylvania studying transcriptional gene regulation, a PhD at Università La Sapienza investigating protein chaperones and Alzheimer's disease, and a visiting scientist position at The Wistar Institute exploring ER chaperone involvement in EBV infection. Daniela holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Sapienza Università di Roma.
