Gregory Batt has an extensive background in research and academia, with a current role as Directeur de Recherche and Principal Investigator at Inria since October 2007, and as Directeur d'Unité de Recherche at Institut Pasteur since February 2017. Prior experience includes positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Verimag, Université Grenoble Alpes, and Boston University, as well as serving as a PhD Student at INRIA. Gregory Batt earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Université Grenoble Alpes between 2002 and 2006, and completed studies at École normale supérieure de Lyon from 1998 to 2002.
