Jong Eun Ihm

Responsible For Entrepreneurship Training

Jong Eun Ihm, PhD, PMP, currently serves as the Administration Director of the Advanced Master Program in Life Science and Health Management (APiL) and is responsible for entrepreneurship training at Institut Pasteur, where management of the Startup Awareness office is also a key role. Previous experience includes a position as Research Engineer at Institut Pasteur, focusing on scientific coordination, business development, and user training on advanced microscopy systems. Jong Eun Ihm was a Research Assistant Professor at the Engineering Development Research Center, contributing to education strategy and policy development in collaboration with the Korean Ministry of Science. Additional roles include Scientific Coordinator at EPFL, establishing academic partnerships in Korea, and Post-Doc at l'Hôpital de l'Ophtalmique, working on gene therapy for retinal degeneration. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biotechnology from EPFL, a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Korea University, and a Diploma from Sorbonne Université specializing in biological and medical engineering.
