Magali Herrant

Magali Herrant, PhD MPH, is an International Scientific Cooperation Officer in the Department of International Affairs at the Institut Pasteur. Between 2000 and 2005, they served as a Research Trainee at Inserm, where they completed their Master’s and PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology under the supervision of Prof. Patrick Auberger. They contributed as a Junior Epidemiologist at the Institut Pasteur in 2010, focusing on public health research, data management, and statistical analysis. Previous to their current role, they were a Scientific Project Manager at the Institut Pasteur de Dakar from 2007 to 2009, overseeing a biomedical study and implementing a quality assurance system. Their educational background includes a Master of Public Health with high honors from École Pasteur Cnam de Santé Publique, as well as postgraduate studies in statistics and a PhD with the highest honors from Université Côte d’Azur.
