Samy Gobaa

Samy Gobaa is an experienced professional in the field of bioengineering, currently serving as the Head of the Organ-on-Chip Center at Institut Pasteur since May 2015, where responsibilities include the conceptualization, implementation, and standardization of Organ-on-Chip technology. Additionally, Samy holds the position of Head of the Biomaterials & Microfluidics core facility, providing bioengineering services for biomedical research. Previous experience includes a role as a Visiting Research Scientist at the Korean Institute for Science and Technology and a postdoctoral position at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). Samy Gobaa obtained a PhD in Structure-function relations in gluten polymeric proteins from ETHZ and holds a D.E.A. in Biosciences Vegetales from Université Paul Sabatier - Toulouse III.
