Vincent Deruelle

Vincent Deruelle is a postdoctoral researcher at Institut Pasteur since January 2021, focusing on the effects of ExoY expression in cellular models. Prior experience includes serving as a PhD student at CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives, where Vincent identified a novel eukaryotic protein essential for the membrane localization of Pseudomonas aeruginosa's ExoU toxin. Vincent's background also includes a research and development engineer role at Sanofi, conducting transcriptomic studies and data analysis, as well as a previous internship focused on gene regulation at Sanofi Pasteur, which involved transcriptomic studies and various laboratory techniques. Earlier experiences include a research internship at Institut Pasteur de Lille, working on the phosphatase activity determinants of BvgS in Bordetella pertussis, and various operational roles in different companies. Vincent holds an engineering degree in Health Biotechnology from Oniris Nantes.
