Founded in 2024, the Arandu Institute’s mission is to drive sustainable low-carbon land use models.

Born from the union of entrepreneurs with extensive technical and academic experience, the Institute brings together a multidisciplinary team with expertise in agriculture, finance, environment, and innovation. We combine the experience of the private and nonprofit sectors with the knowledge of public policies to build initiatives with positive and lasting impact.

We are based in Piracicaba, a strategic hub for agribusiness and innovation in low-carbon solutions in Brazil, at the heart of a cutting-edge ecosystem.

Our actions are centered on four main pillars, always seeking to harmonize production and environmental conservation. They are:
	•	Inclusion of Family and Community Producers, integrating family farmers and extractive communities into sustainable value chains.
	•	Carbon Incentives and Methodologies, developing and supporting methodologies, instruments, and initiatives that enable low-carbon livestock and farming practices.
	•	Innovation and Entrepreneurship, fostering an ecosystem to identify, develop, and scale technological solutions and structuring initiatives.
	•	Innovative Financial Instruments, structuring investments in financial mechanisms that promote nature-based solutions (NBS).
