Desiree Perez

Desiree Perez is an experienced professional currently serving as Data & Research Coordinator and Data Coach at Instituto since June 2022. Prior to this role, Desiree worked with Planned Parenthood Arizona, Inc. from May 2014 to June 2022, holding positions such as Organizing Manager, Northern Arizona Regional Organizer, and Regional Health Coordinator. In these roles, Desiree designed departmental programming, fostered partnerships with community organizations, activated a large network of supporters for advocacy campaigns, and provided health information and training to community members. Desiree is pursuing a Master of Arts in Social Justice and Community Organizing at Prescott College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Humboldt State University.
