Kelli Seaton, Ph.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Kelli is currently the Managing Director of Antiracism Strategy, Internal Learning, & Organizational Culture at Instruction Partners. In this role, they lead a team of coaches to support team leaders and team members in advancing anti-racism. Kelli utilizes various frameworks and theories, such as the White Supremacy Framework and Dr. Brene Brown's work on perfectionism, to coach and develop teams. Kelli also incorporates leadership development practices and focuses on inquiry and humility to address developmental matters and productivity gaps. Kelli has achieved high coach satisfaction and received positive feedback from team leaders.

Prior to their current role, Kelli worked as an Independent Consultant, where they provided leadership, strategy, programming, and research support. Kelli was also a Certified Speaker and Coach at The John Maxwell Team from 2017 to 2023. Furthermore, they served as the Chief Learning Officer at The Center for Black Educator Development from 2019 to 2022.

Earlier in their career, Kelli held key positions at Teach For America, including Vice President of Teacher Leadership Development, and served as a Principal at Mastery Charter Schools. Kelli also worked at Martin Luther King High School as a School Growth Teacher, where they designed various processes and systems to enhance teacher reflection and professional development.

Kelli's early career included a role as a Corps Member at Teach For America and as a School Counselor at Lafayette School Corporation. Overall, they bring a wealth of experience in education, leadership, and anti-racism strategies to their current role.

Kelli Seaton, Ph.D. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Purdue University. Kelli also earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Counseling from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in English and Secondary Education from Howard University.
