Aaron Shafovaloff

Aaron Shafovaloff is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer at Instructure, Inc. since July 2013, with experience in developing projects such as Commons, Common Cartridge Viewer, and Canvas Insights. Prior to this role, Aaron worked as a Programmer at Unified RV, creating an application for product data management, and at Internet Biblical Seminary, developing a learning management system using CakePHP. Previous positions include building an OSHA-compliance web platform at Proton Communications and general contracting at ePliant Marketing. Aaron's early career included roles as an e-Learning Technician at the Air Force Institute of Technology and as a Web Developer at Ball Aerospace. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University and has further education from Sinclair Community College and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
