Alex Degnan, CPA, is a seasoned accounting professional currently serving as Sr. Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting at Instructure since May 2021, following a managerial role in the same department. Prior experience includes positions at PwC from September 2016 to May 2021, advancing from Senior Associate to Assurance Associate focused on financial auditing. Alex has also contributed as a Fly Freestyle Coach at Utah Olympic Park and gained early finance experience as an intern at both Backcountry.com and Deer Valley Resort. Earlier work includes managing tracking software during the BP Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill for The Response Group.
