Andrew Scanlan

Andrew Scanlan is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in educational policy and quantitative analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at Instructure since September 2022, Andrew focuses on research and evaluation methodologies. Previous roles include Education Policy Fellow at the Institute for Educational Leadership and research positions at LearnPlatform, where Andrew contributed to equity data analyses for the IMPACT staff evaluation system at the District of Columbia Public Schools. In earlier positions, Andrew held roles at the Thomas B. Fordham Institute and served as a Child Protection Consultant with ChildFund International, authoring influential policy briefs. Andrew's educational background includes a Master's degree in International Children's Rights from King's College London and a Bachelor's degree in European Studies from Trinity College Dublin.
