Chad McGuire

Chad McGuire has extensive experience in software engineering and technical services, with a career spanning over 15 years. Currently serving as Director of Technical Services and Custom Development at Instructure since September 2015, previous roles include Engineering Manager and Software Engineer. Prior experience includes positions as a Java Developer at Progrexion and Software Engineer at Intermountain Healthcare. At Tomax Corporation, Chad led a team in developing custom retail software utilizing JBoss and other tools, and at Teltronics, Chad developed a Java Swing GUI for VoIP phone systems and gained knowledge of the SIP protocol. Chad holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Weber State University and an A.S. in Computer Science from Salt Lake Community College.
