Ebony Haywood

Ebony Haywood, M.Ed., SPHR, currently serves as the Director of Organizational Development & Learning at Instructure since May 2023, following a role as Vice President of People & Culture at LearnPlatform by Instructure from May 2021 to May 2023. Prior experience includes over a decade at Allied Universal, where Ebony held the position of Director of Training and Development, and significant previous roles at IAS and Securadyne Systems. With a rich background in education as a co-founder and board chair at NHA - Johnston Charter Academy, and earlier positions including Assistant Principal at Chesterbrook Academy and 5th Grade Teacher at Wake County Public School System, Ebony's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Elementary Education from Meredith College and a Master of Education in Adult Education and Training from the University of Phoenix.
