Jon Howard is an experienced Senior Technical Consultant and Project Manager at Instructure, contributing to the Canvas technical consulting team with expertise in implementation, authentication, Canvas APIs, and data integrations since July 2020. Previously, Jon served as the Career & Technology Education Department Chair and Program & Curriculum Architect at Austin Independent School District from 2009 to 2020, where responsibilities included team development, financial oversight, and teaching technology education courses. Earlier in Jon’s career, notable positions included co-founding and directing Triangle Technology, and serving as a Senior Consultant at both Catapult Systems and Interface Teknologies, focusing on manufacturing scheduling systems for 3M. Jon holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and began studies at The University of Texas at Austin.
