Ken Arendt is an accomplished professional in UX/UI design and product development, currently serving as the Director of UX/UI Design at Instructure since February 2024. Prior to this role, Ken worked at Parchment for nearly a decade as a Principal and Senior UX/UI Designer. Experience also includes a position as a UX Designer at Education Elements, where blended learning solutions were developed, and a role as Project Manager at Striiv, Inc. In addition, Ken co-founded KidSpring Studio, which focuses on creating interactive learning apps for early childhood education. Earlier in the career, Ken spent over a decade at Space Machine, Inc. as the Director of Product Development, specializing in human machine interface design for automotive applications. Ken holds a BFA in Industrial Design and Graphic Design from the University of Illinois Chicago, earned between 1992 and 1997.
