Kristen Luke has extensive experience in academia and finance, currently serving as part of the Instructure team with a focus on the Canvas Learning Management System since May 2022. Instructing in economics at both Cal Poly Humboldt and College of the Redwoods since 2013 and 2012 respectively, Kristen balances these teaching roles with the position of Pre Award Specialist in the Office of Sponsored Programs at Cal Poly Humboldt. Prior professional experience includes roles at PIMCO from 2004 to 2009, where Kristen held various positions including LDI Product Associate and Legal and Compliance Analyst. An educational background includes a BA in Economics and a BA in International Affairs from The George Washington University, an MBA focused on Sustainability and Business from Cal Poly Humboldt, and a study abroad experience in Economics at the University of Sydney.
