Mark Starkman

Mark Starkman has an extensive background in engineering and software development, with experience ranging from Senior Engineering Manager to Senior Staff Scientist. In their current role at Instructure, Mark leads a team of engineers towards becoming one of the most impactful engineering teams. Prior to this, Mark held positions at companies such as FireHydrant, SaneBox, Homepolish, and Intellum, where Mark focused on leading projects, developing new features, and mentoring team members. Mark has a strong educational background, with a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
