Trey Bean

Trey Bean is a seasoned technology professional with extensive leadership experience in product management and engineering. Currently serving as Co-Founder and General Manager at Headlamp since September 2022, Trey has also held senior leadership positions at Instructure since May 2019, including GM of Headlamp and VP of Engineering. Adding to a diverse career, Trey contributed as a Mentor at Udacity, specializing in machine learning and algorithms from March to June 2019. Previous positions include VP of Product and General Manager at Kuali, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed P&L management and strategic execution, and VP of Product at Instructure, overseeing a large team and managing significant budgets. Trey founded 12 Spokes, growing it from a small consultancy to a successful company. Educationally, Trey holds a BS in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from the University of Utah.
