Bao Tran has extensive experience in corporate treasury and finance. They started their career as a Financial Analyst at Aetna in 1998 and later worked as a Financial Analyst at IBM in 2003. They then joined Covidien (Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group) in 2004 and held various roles, including Senior Analyst, Senior Manager, and Director in the Corporate Treasury department. At Covidien, Bao was involved in capital planning, managing treasury programs, and overseeing treasury operations in Canada, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. Covidien was acquired by Medtronic PLC in 2015. In 2015, Bao joined Patheon as the Senior Director of Corporate Treasury & Risk Management, where they were responsible for capital structure, liquidity management, and relationships with rating agencies and banks. Patheon was later acquired by Thermo Fisher in 2017. From 2017 to 2020, Bao worked at Iron Mountain as the Vice President & Treasurer, where they were responsible for global treasury operations and managing relationships with banks and rating agencies. Currently, Bao is the Vice President of Corporate Treasury at Insulet Corporation, a position they have held since 2021.
Bao Tran earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Sacred Heart University from 1994 to 1998. Later, from 2001 to 2003, Bao Tran obtained an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business.
