David Ward

David Ward has a diverse work experience in the engineering and research field. David has been working as a Team Lead in Post Market Engineering at Insulet Corporation since 2023. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Research Intern at Georgia Tech Research Institute from 2022 to 2023. From 2017 to 2022, David worked as a Lab Manager/Research Engineer II at the University of Washington's Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, where they managed cross-functional projects and implemented health and safety initiatives. David also worked as a Research Engineer at the University of Washington Bioengineering in 2017, focusing on implant testing and tissue analysis. Before that, they held positions as a Research Assistant at Washington State University from 2012 to 2015 and as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington Bioengineering in 2013, where their work involved investigating the efficacy of a malaria drug as a treatment for breast cancer.

David Ward completed their education at various institutions. In 2010-2016, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering and Materials Science & Engineering from Washington State University. Later, in 2019-2020, they pursued a certification in Biotechnology Project Management from the University of Washington Continuing Education. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Biomedical Innovation and Development from the Georgia Institute of Technology, from 2022-2023. Additionally, in 2023, they obtained a certification in LinkedIn Marketing Strategy from LinkedIn.
