Mike McSherry

Mike McSherry began their work experience in 1988 at NCR Corporation as a Principal Engineer. Mike then joined Qualcomm in 1998, where they held various roles such as Principal Engineer/Manager and Technical Lead and Principal Engineer. During their time at Qualcomm, they built engineering teams, implemented continuous delivery tool chains, and managed development and operations support. In 2018, Mike joined Insulet Corporation as a Technical Lead and Principal Engineer. In this role, they led a DevOps team and focused on building and supporting the CI/CD pipeline for mobile and cloud software development teams, specifically for medical device software to improve the lives of people living with Type-1 Diabetes.

Mike McSherry has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering, both from Purdue University. Mike has also obtained several certifications in Amazon Web Services (AWS) from Lynda.com, including High Availability, Enterprise Security, Planning an AWS Solution, and Cloud Architecture: Core Concepts, among others.
