Michael Carus

Michael Carus has over 30 years of experience in the financial and technology industries. Michael began their career in 1988 as a Manager in Business Assurance at PwC. In 1995, they joined Geotek Communications as VP Finance & CFO, where they were responsible for raising capital from private equity, bonds and listing on NASDAQ. In 1997, they moved to Fundtech (now part of D+H) as EVP, COO & CFO. At Fundtech, they were a leading provider of financial technology to banks and corporations of all sizes. In 2001, they joined JVP as General Partner & COO/CFO, where they were a Board of Director/Observer/Investor for Cogent Communications and Oblicore. In 2006, they joined Red Vision Systems, Inc. as President & COO and Board Member. At Red Vision Systems, they were responsible for overall strategy and performance of the company. In 2017, they joined Perfecto Mobile as Chief Financial Officer, Board Operating Committee. At Perfecto Mobile, they were a high growth SaaS company with premier customers. In 2019, they joined Utilant, LLC as COO & CFO. At Utilant, they were a high growth Insurtech SaaS company with a market leading solution. In 2021, they joined InsurePay as COO & CFO. At InsurePay, they were a leading insurtech billing and payments suite that ensures accuracy of premiums and offers integrated payments and reconciliations.

Michael Carus graduated from Ithaca College in 1988 with an Accounting CPA with Honors.
