Katie Powers is a Senior Editor at Insurify since December 2021, overseeing the assignment and editing of educational auto insurance content while collaborating with freelance writers on content style and SEO optimization. With previous roles including SEO Content Specialist and Freelance Writer at Insurify, Katie has developed a solid foundation in digital content creation. Currently, Katie also serves as a Freelance Copy Editor and Proofreader for Penguin Random House and writes for St. Louis Magazine, contributing to various online and print publications. Additional experience includes an internship at McCarthy, Leonard & Kaemmerer, field organizing for Jill Schupp’s congressional campaign, and internships in educational publishing. Katie holds a Master of Arts in Publishing and Writing from Emerson College, along with a Bachelor's degree in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from the same institution.
