Software Support Manager at Intact

Amanda Black has a diverse work experience background. Amanda started their career as a Library Assistant at Lancashire County Council in 1991 and then moved on to become a Senior Library Assistant at the University of Central Lancashire in 1995. From there, they transitioned into the IT industry and worked as an Application Consultant for Baan from 1998 to 1999 and later for Atos from 1999 to 2002. Following this, they served as a System Analyst at Halfords from 2002 to 2005. Amanda then worked as an Application Consultant specializing in Sage 200 and Line 100 at BDE from 2005 to 2009. Amanda joined TSG in 2009 as a Sage Consultant until 2010. Currently, they are employed as a Software Support Manager at Intact since 2017.

Amanda Black first attended Saint Hilda's High School from 1985 to 1986, where they obtained their O-Levels in English Language, English Literature, Maths, French, Art, Physics, Chemistry, and RE. Afterward, they enrolled at Burnley Sixth Form Centre from 1986 to 1988 to complete their A Levels in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. Following this, from 1988 to 1991, Amanda pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Hons degree in Accounting at the University of Central Lancashire. Lastly, they attended Liverpool John Moores University from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a PG Dip Lib in Information Management.
