Anthony Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Anthony started their career at Edward Murphy Ltd as an Accounts Admin from June 1997 to September 1998. Anthony then joined Callan Computers in September 2002 as a Professional Services Consultant, where they were responsible for software implementation, training, and support for various software packages. In 2012, they shifted to Intact, where they held multiple roles, including Professional Services Consultant, Senior Professional Services Consultant, Lead iQ Consultant, Ireland Professional Services Manager, PMO Enterprise Manager, and most recently, Product Owner for the iQ Accelerate and Projects Team. Additionally, Anthony has also been involved in the political field, serving as a Green Party Representative for Drogheda Rural and as Chair of Louth / East Meath Greens for the Green Party of Ireland / Comhaontas Glas.

Anthony Murphy attended Dundalk Institute of Technology in 2018, where they earned a Certificate in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2002, they attended DKIT, studying Software Development. Anthony also graduated from St. Olivers Community College between 1991 and 1996. It is not specified if they obtained a degree or field of study from St. Olivers Community College.
