Mark Ward

Mark Ward has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mark began their career as a Lecturer at Dundalk Institute of Technology in 1994, where they worked until 1999. Mark then worked as a Developer at Taintech from June 1999 to February 2000. Following that, they joined SSE as a Senior Software Developer from February 2000 to April 2003. Mark then took on the role of CTO at Brandt Technologies from May 2003 to February 2014, where they were involved in C++ development, software porting, open source development, and project management, among other responsibilities. Mark then served as a Senior Software Developer at Post Consult International Ltd (a subsidiary of An Post) from March 2014 to August 2016, working with the An Post Group Technology Solutions team on various enterprise application systems. Currently, Mark is working as a Software Developer at Intact Software, starting from August 2016.

Mark obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Practice from University College Dublin from 2007 to 2008.

Prior to that, they studied Applied Mathematics and earned a B. Sc. degree from Dublin City University from 1987 to 1992.

- In February 2015, they received a certification in "Beginning Game Programming with C#" from Coursera Verified Certificates.

- In April 2015, they obtained a certification in "C# Advanced Topics: Take Your C# Skills to the Next Level" from Udemy.
