Amanda Simpson

Amanda Simpson, CIP, is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in underwriting and broker relations. Currently serving as a Senior Underwriter for Non-Standard Risks at Intact since November 2015, Amanda focuses on developing broker relationships across Western Canada. Previous roles include Commercial and Personal Lines Underwriter at The Mutual Fire Insurance Company of British Columbia and Insurance Broker/Underwriter at Westland Insurance, where Amanda honed skills in processing new business and managing client queries. Early career experiences include serving as the Communication and Events Coordinator at SHARE Family & Community Services and co-owning Creative Concierge Inc. Amanda holds an Advanced CIP and a Risk Management Certificate from the Insurance Institute of Canada, as well as a Broadcast Communications degree from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
