Amrin Alam

Amrin Alam is an experienced underwriter currently serving as an Intermediate Underwriter for Commercial Lines at Intact since January 2021, following a progression from roles in underwriting and assistance in personal lines. Prior to this, Amrin worked at Evans Consoles, providing human resources administrative support and managing payroll responsibilities for over 500 employees, as well as serving as a summer intern in human resources. Amrin's experience also includes a role at Husky Energy, where management of contracts valued at up to $10M was key, along with procurement responsibilities. Earlier career experience includes a position as a Product Advisor at Microsoft, where a successful video on Microsoft applications was produced and multiple technical training workshops were conducted. Amrin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Calgary.
