Cathy Smyth has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as a Specialist and previously as a Senior Underwriter in Specialty Solutions at Intact since December 2019. Prior to this role, Cathy held the position of Senior Underwriter in Corporate Insurance at The Guarantee Company of North America from June 1994 to December 2019. Cathy's career began at the LOCAL ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT UNIT (now Invest Northern Ireland) as an Information Officer from September 1985 to April 1994. Cathy holds a BTec Higher National Diploma in Business and Finance from Belfast Metropolitan College.
