Heather Sheen

Heather Sheen is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and public relations. Currently serving as a Communications Manager at Intact since April 2022, Heather contributes to the strategic communications process within the Claims department. Previously, Heather worked at Porter Novelli from September 2014 to April 2022, progressing from a Consultant to a Public Relations Supervisor, where responsibilities included leading public relations programs across multiple accounts, mentoring team members, and managing reputation risks. Earlier roles included positions at GCI Canada and Southlake Regional Health Centre, focusing on healthcare communications and stakeholder engagement. Heather holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Post-graduate Certificate in Corporate Communications from Seneca Polytechnic, and a Digital Marketing Certificate from BrainStation.
