James Prior

James Prior is currently the Senior Legal Counsel at Intact Insurance Company of Canada, where they focus on insurance defence, including personal injury and property loss claims. Prior to this role, they served as a partner at both a national law firm and a boutique insurance defence firm, primarily in insurance defence practice. James obtained their Bachelor of Laws from the Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario, where they sharpened their advocacy skills through moot court competitions and contributed to research in healthcare law. Additionally, while at law school, James published brochures on alcohol-related liability with MADD Canada.
