Jonathan Wood

Jonathan Wood is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as a Corporate Commercial Lines Specialist at Intact since April 2001. In this role, Jonathan focuses on fulfilling commercial lines customers' insurance needs and enhancing long-term profitability through effective insurance products and risk assessment. Jonathan has a strong background in commercial property and casualty underwriting, developing relationships with brokers while reviewing and selling policies. Prior to joining Intact, Jonathan worked as a licensed Security Officer and Supervisor for the City of Edmonton, where responsibilities included overseeing a security team and employing customer service and conflict resolution skills. Jonathan holds a Chartered Insurance Professional designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada and a CRM in Risk Management from RIMS Canada, along with an Insurance & Risk Management diploma from Grant Macewan College.
