Marcel Malfitano is currently the Director of Legal Claims at Intact Insurance, having previously held managerial and lawyer positions at various organizations, including Economical Insurance and TD Insurance Staff Legal. Called to the Ontario Bar in June 2013, Marcel completed articles at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, where they gained extensive experience in corporate securities and commercial real estate. Marcel earned a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2012, graduating in the top 5% of their class, and also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Classical Civilizations from the University of Toronto. During law school, Marcel actively participated in student life, serving in multiple roles, including Chair of the Student Caucus.
