Matt MacKay

Matt MacKay is an experienced Surety Underwriter at Intact since April 2023, responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of contract surety accounts and evaluating bonding requests for contractors. Previously, Matt held the position of Underwriting Assistant within the same company, contributing to the processing of personal insurance applications and assisting in coverage evaluations. Prior experience includes supporting daily operations at MGM Rentals in property acquisition and renovation, along with roles as an Administrative Assistant at Intact and a Brand Representative at The TJX Companies, Inc. Matt is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Saint Mary's University, expected to graduate in May 2024, following earlier education at Auburn Drive High School, where a High School Diploma was earned.
