Mel Wright currently serves as Vice President of Communications at Intact, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Mel held various executive positions at Laurentian Bank of Canada, including Vice President of Corporate and Public Affairs and Vice President of Strategy from November 2020 to April 2024. Mel's experience includes serving as the Interim Executive Director at the Future Skills Centre in 2018 and several Chief of Staff roles within the Government of Ontario from 2013 to 2018. Additional roles include Deputy Director of Communications and Senior Policy Advisor in the Minister of Finance's office. Mel holds a BA with Honors in Economics and International Development from Dalhousie University and an MA in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Toronto's Munk School of Global Affairs.
