Meranda Thiessen, called to the B.C. bar in 2007, began their legal career as an articling student and associate at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP before practicing as legal counsel at Dolden Wallace Folick LLP and ICBC. They transitioned to the insurance sector, where they served as Manager of Management Liability, D&O, and Crime at Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions from 2020 to 2024, before becoming Director of Claims Legal Support and subsequently Director, Claims Legal. Currently, Meranda is pursuing diplomas and degrees in Financial Management and Business Administration while studying law at The University of British Columbia.
