Sam Cheung

Sam Cheung is currently the Data Science Tech Lead at Intact Lab, where they focus on Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. With a strong background in NLP research, Sam has two years of experience working on projects in text classification and question answering during both professional roles and post-graduate studies. Previously, Sam served as a Research Manager at the Census and Statistics Department of HKSAR, where they developed a Python application for a text classifier utilizing advanced NLP algorithms. Sam's educational background includes a Master's degree in Statistics from The University of Hong Kong, where they achieved Distinction, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
