Sharon Sproxton

Sharon Sproxton has extensive experience in risk management and insurance, currently serving as the Director of Operational and Insurance Risk Management for North America at Intact since June 2011. Over the years at Intact, Sharon has held various director and managerial positions, including Director of Risk Management and Corporate Commercial Lines for both Property & Casualty and Automobile. Prior to Intact, Sharon Sproxton worked at AXA for nearly seven years in roles such as Major Case Unit and Examiner, Head Office Claims. Earlier career experience includes positions at Economical Insurance and State Farm ®, focusing on alternative dispute resolution and accident benefits adjustment, respectively. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Honours) in Political Science and Government from York University and has further education from Swiss Re IMS.
