Simon de Baat is currently the Group Capital Director at Intact, a role they have held since 2021. Previously, Simon served as a Senior Manager in Corporate Pensions Advisory at KPMG from 2005 to 2013 and as a Pensions Consultant at Mercer from 2002 to 2005. Simon has also been the Head of Economic Capital at RSA between 2016 and 2017. They are a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, having pursued this status since 2002, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with first-class honors from the University of Nottingham in 2002.
