Stéphane Caron is an accomplished data scientist and actuary with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as a principal data scientist at Intact since March 2018, Stéphane specializes in solving machine learning problems related to insurance within the Intact Lab's data science team. Prior to this role, Stéphane contributed as a teaching assistant at Université Laval, aiding in the preparation of laboratory activities for a statistical learning course. Stéphane's background includes actuarial analysis positions at Promutuel Assurance and a strong academic foundation with a Master’s degree in Statistics and a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, both from Université Laval.
