Upal Hossain currently serves as Vice President, Data and AI at Intact Lab, leading a team of approximately 300 professionals in data engineering, AI engineering, and analytics solutions to enhance the company's insurance products through innovative technology. Previously, Upal held various leadership roles at TD, including Associate Vice President, AI Technology Delivery Lead, where efforts focused on establishing an Enterprise AI Platform, and Associate Vice President for the DaaS Customer Product Group, driving success in data service teams. Upal also transformed TD's Enterprise Data Estate by migrating data pipelines to Azure Cloud and led a significant analytics team. At Sun Life, as Head of Engineering for Data & Analytics, responsibilities included platform engineering and operational support on AWS. Prior experience includes leading the Information Lifecycle Management Practice at Wipro Technologies. Upal holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
