Dylan Dryden has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Dylan is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Intanify, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, Dylan co-founded and served as a Non-Executive Director of a portfolio of agricultural and agri-processing projects in West Africa. In this role, they oversaw financing, commercial negotiations, and engineering from concept through bankable feasibility.
From 2016 to 2022, Dylan worked as an advisor to various tech, renewable energy, agribusiness, and resources businesses and entrepreneurs. Dylan'sassignments included board advisory, corporate finance, investment/project analysis, transaction management, due diligence, and corporate development/strategy.
Dylan also has experience as a CFO for a innovative drinks start-up called BrightFox from 2018 to 2020. Dylan was responsible for implementing financial systems and standard operating procedures while also overseeing legal, HR, compliance, and supply chain functions.
Prior to that, Dylan worked as a Vice President at Richmond Park Partners and Compass Partners, providing independent advisory services on M&A and capital raising in the energy/resources, industrials, financial institutions, and technology sectors.
Other notable roles include co-founding and serving as Director of Thola'Njia Venture Partners, an Africa-focused strategy and advisory firm, and working as an Associate in the EMEA energy team at Credit Suisse.
Earlier in their career, Dylan worked as a Credit Research Analyst at Barclays Capital and as a Summer Analyst at Credit Suisse. Dylan also gained experience through internships and development programs at various companies, including Trafigura and Rand Merchant Bank.
Dylan Dryden has pursued executive education in sustainability leadership and corporate responsibility at the London Business School in 2021. In 2013, they obtained a Master of Business Administration with a focus on finance and strategy from the same institution. Prior to that, in 2012-2013, Dylan pursued a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in finance, strategy, and entrepreneurship at the HKUST Business School. Dylan completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Cape Town from 2002 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Business Science (Hons) with a major in finance, accounting, and statistics. Additionally, in 2021, Dylan acquired a Green and Sustainable Finance Certificate from The Chartered Banker Institute.
