Yakov Filippenko

Yakov Filippenko has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Yakov is currently the Founder of Intch, an invite-only Professional Networking Tool. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at AltaIR Capital from 2018 to 2021. Before that, they were the President & Co-Founder of Sailplay, a leading Marketing Automation solution for B2C companies. Yakov also worked as the CTO at LinguaLeo, where they were responsible for the business and technological transformation of the company. Yakov started their professional journey as a Project Manager at Yandex, the top software and tech company in Russia, and also worked as a Product Manager and Business Analyst at Prime TASS. Throughout their career, Yakov has demonstrated leadership skills and expertise in product development, go-to-market strategy, and business development.

Yakov Filippenko began their education at the Kirov Physics and Mathematics Lyceum from 2003 to 2005, where they were a student specializing in Mathematics. Yakov then pursued their undergraduate studies at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 2005 to 2006, majoring in Mathematics. Yakov obtained a Specialist degree in Mathematics from MSU in 2011.

In terms of additional certifications, Yakov obtained a Machine Learning Certificate (Yandex/HSE) from Coursera Course Certificates in March 2016. Yakov also completed a Machine Learning course from Coursera Course Certificates in May 2016. In July 2016, they obtained an O1 visa from USCIS. Later, in May 2018, they completed a course on Introduction to Neuroeconomics: How the Brain Makes Decisions from Coursera.
